The spiral is an ancient, sacred symbol, representing the flow of energy from the earth, through the sacred cycle of life and back to the earth--a cycle that is physical and spiritual, solar and lunar, feminine and masculine and of death and rebirth.   Healing energy and awakened bodhicitta, love and compassion for all sentient beings without exception, radiates from the heart.  The white backdrop represents Source, the purity and clarity of timeless, limitless space---in which we are all ONE.
