The circle is a primary and ancient symbol. It represents periodicity or something that comes back to itself in harmony over and over again. It is a reminder that in life every ending is a beginning and that it is the nature of life to cycle through these transitions. In the world of Reiki Ryoho, the creation of communities (Reiki practice or healing circles/shares) is essential. Students meet for the purpose of deepening their understanding of Reiki, sharing thoughts and experiences, developing their healing ability, practicing inner stillness, and exchanging treatments. Therefore, as a community, we assist each other in becoming more balanced and more awake. We also, as a community, send Reiki energy remotely for those at a distance who are in need of healing. (There is no fee for this service.) The Reiki energy channeled from a group of practitioners exceeds the sum of that energy, and spontaneous healing can occur on all levels--physical, emotional/mental, social and spiritual.
